GABORONE, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Botswana has intensified the strengthening of the capacity of its healthcare workers in order to improve COVID-19 case management, the country's health minister said Saturday.
At least 1,500 both primary and secondary healthcare workers have been trained over the last two weeks in prioritized parts of the southern African country, Lemogang Kwape, Botswana's minister of health and wellness, told journalists in a virtual press briefing.
