LONDON, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Thursday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 1.51 percent, or 94.50 points, to close at 6,185.62 points.
Flutter Entertainment, a sports betting and gaming company, soared 2.79 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Persimmon and GVC Holdings increased by 1.95 percent and 1.86 percent, respectively.
