SYDNEY (Reuters) - Lindsay Dufty remembers seeing the pilots' faces as Japanese bombers descended on Darwin in February 1942, the first ever enemy attack over Australian soil.
He remembers that, with no artillery experience at the time, he felt worried he might let down his mates in an anti-aircraft gun team.
