German shares up 0.66 pct Friday

FRANKFURT, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index up 83.20 points, or 0.66 percent, to close at 12,674.88 points.

Telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 2.66 percent. Semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies and sportswear and equipment maker Adidas rose by 2.44 percent and 2.09 percent respectively.
