WTI crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- U.S. oil prices decreased on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for September delivery lost 24 cents to settle at 41.95 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
