KHARTOUM, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- A total of 10 people have been killed and three others injured as a result of rains and floods that hit various areas in Sudan during the past days, said the Sudanese National Council for Civil Defence on Thursday.
"The death toll from the rains rose to 10 besides three injuries with complete collapse of 1,872 houses and partial collapse of 1,508 houses," the council said in its daily report.
