SANTIAGO, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- Latin America and the Caribbean's foreign trade will see a steep 23 percent drop in 2020 due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, according to the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).
In a new report titled "The effects of COVID-19 pandemic on international trade and logistics," the UN agency urged deepening regional integration as a way to withstand the impacts of the health crisis.
