Israel to set up COVID-19 testing lab at Ben Gurion airport

JERUSALEM, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- Israel will soon set up a COVID-19 testing laboratory at Ben Gurion International Airport near the coastal city of Tel Aviv, the state's Ministry of Transport said on Thursday.

The ministry said in a statement that Israel Airports Authority (IAA) has issued a tender for establishing the lab, following a decision taken by Transport Minister Miri Regev in coordination with the Ministry of Health.
