CAIRO, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- Iran's COVID-19 cases rose to 317,483 on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Turkey has tightened measures against the pandemic across the country after daily new cases surpassed the threshold of 1,000 again.
Iran, the hardest-hit country in the Middle East region, reported 2,697 new cases, bringing the total number of infections to 317,483.
