Morocco reports 522 new COVID-19 cases, 25,537 in total

RABAT, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- Morocco on Sunday reported 522 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total number of infections in the country to 25,537.

The total number of recoveries from COVID-19 in Morocco increased to 18,435 after 475 new ones were added, while the death toll rose to 382 with 15 new fatalities, said Abdelkrim Meziane Belfkih, head of the department of epidemic diseases at the Ministry of Health, at a press briefing.
