FRANKFURT, July 29 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged down on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 13.02 points, or 0.10 percent, to close at 12,822.26 points.
Chemical group BASF lost 4.90 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by Automotive manufacturers Volkswagen and BMW, which lost 2.93 percent and 2.53 percent respectively.
