WASHINGTON, July 24 (Xinhua) -- The Smithsonian's National Zoo in northwest Washington, D.C. reopened to visitors on Friday after months of closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Visitors to the zoo, which has been closed since mid-March, are required to follow guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention against the coronavirus, including wearing face coverings and keeping social distancing. A total of 5,000 timed passes will be released each day.
