MADRID, July 22 (Xinhua) -- Share prices in Spain fell on Wednesday with the benchmark Ibex-35 index losing 1.39 percent to close at 7,390.10 points.
Twenty-three of the 35 blue chips lost in the day, with 10 gaining value and two companies remaining unchanged in the session.
The worst results were for energy provider Naturgy, which fell 5.21 percent, while the Melia Hotels International group lost 4.06 percent and technological consultancy Indra was down 3.51 percent.
Wednesday's best results were for clean energy producer Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy which gained 2.35 percent, while insurance company Mapfre and property company Inmobiliaria Colonial both improved by 1.03 percent.
