OTTAWA, July 22 (Xinhua) -- Canada's Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 0.7 percent on a year-over-year basis in June, Statistics Canada said Wednesday.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CPI registered two months of negative readings leading up to June, first with 0.2 percent annualized decline in April, then a further 0.4 percent drop in May.
