German shares rise 0.99 pct Monday

FRANKFURT, July 20 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index up 127.31 points, or 0.99 percent, to close at 13,046.92 points.

Marketplace organizer for the trading of shares and securities Deutsche Boerse group and multinational software corporation SAP won the most among the blue chips, both with its shares up 2.46 percent. Semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies rose by 2.08 percent respectively.
