Brazil registers over 1,200 additional coronavirus deaths on Tuesday

RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) - Brazil registered 45,305 new cases of the novel coronavirus over the last 24 hours and 1,254 additional deaths, the nation's health ministry said on Tuesday.

The Latin American nation has now registered 1,668,589 total cases and 66,741 deaths attributable to the virus.
