BRASILIA (Reuters) - Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro said the federal police under the command of the new chief he appointed on Tuesday will have autonomy from the government.
Yet he said the investigation into the stabbing he suffered on the campaign trail in 2018, a probe he had criticized the previous police chief for not resolving, would be reopened now.
