BERLIN (Reuters) - German Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Wednesday that social distancing measures implemented to slow the spread of the coronavirus will be kept in place until April 19 and will be re-evaluated the Tuesday after Easter.
Speaking after a telephone conference with the premiers of Germany's 16 states, Merkel said it was too soon to talk about easing the measures and added that Europe's largest economy was still far from achieving what it needed to achieve.
