ANKARA (Reuters) - Turkey condemned a decision by the U.S. House of Representatives to recognise the mass killings of Armenians by the Ottoman Empire as genocide, saying on Wednesday it would damage the "critical" relationship between the NATO allies.
Armenia praised Tuesday's vote, which Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hailed on Twitter as "a bold step towards serving truth and historical #justice".
