COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Denmark's incoming prime minister Mette Frederiksen said on Wednesday she would nominate Margrethe Vestager to continue as a European Commissioner for another five years, broadcaster TV2 reported.

Until now it has been unclear who Social Democratic leader Frederiksen would appoint as the Danish member of the EU's executive Commission, as Vestager's party is not part of the new government that was announced earlier on Wednesday.
