BUENOS AIRES (Reuters) - Moderate Peronist Senator Miguel Pichetto has accepted an invitation to run as vice president under Argentine President Mauricio Macri in October elections, the president wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.

The selection comes as Macri seeks to broaden his voting base amid lackluster poll numbers.
