ATHENS (Reuters) - Greece's leftist government triggered a parliamentary confidence vote on Monday to upstage an opposition push to censure an aide of Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras for comments about a quadriplegic European election candidate.

Analysts expect the government, which trails the conservative opposition in opinion polls but aspires to another term after October elections, to win the confidence motion that is set to take place on Friday.
