WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump directed aides numerous times not to disclose emails about a June 2016 meeting between campaign officials and Russians offering derogatory information on Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton, according to the report by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
The report said there was no documentary evidence that Trump had been aware of the meeting or its Russian connection before it took place. Trump's son Donald Jr., adviser Jared Kushner and then-campaign chairman Paul Manafort attended the meeting at Trump Tower in New York.
