3-year-old girl critical after teenage boy sets off firecracker in her mouth

UTTAR PRADESH (The Statesman/Asai News Network): A three-year-old girl was critically wounded in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut when a boy put a firecracker in her mouth and lit it a day before Diwali, police said on Wednesday. The girl was rushed to a nearby medical facility where her condition is described as serious.

The incident happened at the Milak village on Tuesday. The police have lodged a complaint against the accused and have launched a search for him.
