ANKARA (Reuters) - The Syrian opposition in the rebel-held enclave of Idlib will stay in the same areas they are in now as part of an agreement signed between Turkey and Russia, Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin said on Tuesday.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkey's Tayyip Erdogan agreed on Monday that their troops would enforce a new demilitarised zone in the Idlib region from which "radical" rebels will be required to withdraw by the middle of next month.
