PETALING JAYA: Ladies, sorry, but it’s done; guys, you can breathe a sigh of relief: The Old Spice guy is now married.

The actor who found fame for starring in a series of Old Spice television commercials and videos that went viral on YouTube broke a lot of hearts when he got married to his sweetheart of two years.

Isaiah Mustafa, who also stars in the supernatural drama television series Shadowhunters, got married to Lisa Mitchell on Saturday (May 29) in Austin, Texas.

Mustafa was known as the face of the Old Spice advertising campaign commonly referred to as “The Man Your Man Could Smell Like”, with one of his famous lines being, “Look at your husband … now look at me”.

Old Spice is an American brand of male grooming products including deodorants, body wash, and soap.

The couple met at a comic book convention in March 2016, saying that it was love at first sight, reported People magazine.

“I feel like right away when I met him, it was different,” Mitchell was quoted as saying.

Mustafa proposed to Mitchell during a holiday in Queenstown, New Zealand on Christmas Day in 2016.
