VIENNA (Reuters) - Ukrainian businessman Dmytro Firtash was detained in Vienna on a European arrest warrant, a spokeswoman for Vienna's prosecutors said on Tuesday, minutes after an Austrian court decided to extradite Firtash to the United States.

The spokeswoman said Firtash's detention was technically separate from Tuesday's extradition ruling as it was based on a Spanish request for Firtash's arrest for which she could give no details.
