TOKYO (Reuters) - An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 jolted Japan's northernmost main island of Hokkaido on Thursday, but there was no danger of a tsunami and no immediate report of injuries or major damage.
No problems were reported at any of the nuclear plants in the area, although none of them are in operation.
