China's Xi urges dialogue on Korean peninsula 'predicament'

BEIJING (Reuters) - Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday called for dialogue to resolve the "predicament" on the Korean peninsula during a meeting with South Korea President Park Geun-hye in Washington, Xinhua news agency said.

"The Chinese side stands ready to make efforts in a constructive way to resume dialogue within the framework of six-party talks," Xi told Park.
