HELSINKI (Reuters) - Finnish confederations representing trade unions and employers reached on Monday a preliminary deal on wages and working conditions, raising hopes for the end of a long dispute that triggered strikes and protests last year.
The deal, a key part of the centre-right government's push to boost competitiveness in the stagnant Finnish economy, still needs the approval of some unions and of the government.
