Cate Blanchett and husband adopt daughter


Los Angeles (AFP) - Oscar-winning Australian actress Cate Blanchett (pic) and her husband have adopted a daughter, their fourth child, the couple's management said Saturday.

"The Upton family have adopted a baby girl," a statement issued on behalf of the pair said. "Her name is Edith Vivian Patricia Upton."
