DUBAI (Reuters) - An Iranian diplomat held hostage in Yemen since 2013 returned home on Thursday following an intelligence operation to free him, Iranian state media reported, days after a kidnapped Saudi Arabian diplomat was freed in Yemen.

Noor Ahmad Nikbakht, who was abducted by unidentified attackers in the Yemeni capital Sanaa in July 2013, arrived at Tehran's Mehrabad Airport on Thursday, state news agency IRNA reported.
