Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej to return to hospital

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej will return to a Bangkok hospital for the first time since leaving it a year ago, the palace said in an announcement on Wednesday.

The 86-year-old king would undergo a medical checkup, the Office of His Majesty's Principal Private Secretary said in a statement. It gave no further details on his health or the length of his stay in hospital.
