Japan Amari - U.S., Japan remain apart in trade deal

TOKYO (Reuters) - Japanese Economy Minister Akira Amari said on Thursday that the United States and Japan made progress in trade talks but did not reach a final deal.

"This is not something we can reach a conclusion in a short period of time," Amari told reporters.
