Magnitude 6.7 quake hits off Okinawa, Japan

(Reuters) - A magnitude 6.7 quake struck off Okinawa, Japan, the U.S. Geological Survey said on Sunday, but no tsunami was expected.

The USGS said the quake was cantered 89 miles (143 km) north-northwest of Naha, Okinawa, at a depth of almost 70 miles (112 km).
