Police converge on street in manhunt for Boston bomb suspect, gunfire heard

WATERTOWN, Massachusetts (Reuters) - Gunfire was heard on Friday night as dozens of police cars and armoured vehicles converged on a street in the Boston suburb of Watertown as authorities searched for the surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings, a Reuters witness said.

Minutes after police rushed to a street in Watertown, gunfire broke out, with dozens of shots being heard in rapid succession, the witness said.
