WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Eleven countries negotiating a free trade agreement in the Asia-Pacific region will continue talks on Saturday on Japan's bid to join the negotiations and related issues, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Trade Representative's office said.
"The ministers held a long and very productive meeting (on Friday). They intend to continue their discussion tomorrow," USTR spokeswoman Carol Guthrie said in an email from Surabaya, Indonesia, where the talks are being held.
