KIEV (Reuters) - A Ukrainian court on Thursday put off until August 16 hearings in former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko's appeal against her abuse-of-office conviction and a seven-year prison sentence.
The high court in Kiev granted a motion by state prosecutors for the hearing to be postponed pending a medical examination of Tymoshenko to establish whether she was fit to attend proceedings.
