KIEV (Reuters) - The trial of Ukraine's former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko resumed on Tuesday after a two-week break, with the political leadership under pressure from the West to end the case against her and she herself in fighting form.
The 50-year-old opposition politician has been on trial since June for abuse of office over a gas deal signed with Russia in 2009 which she brokered. She could face up to 10 years jail if convicted.
