TEHRAN (Reuters) - A lawyer for three Americans charged with spying after they were arrested near Iran's border with Iraq said on Monday he expected the court to issue a verdict at the next hearing on Wednesday.
Shane Bauer, Josh Fattal and Sarah Shourd said they were hiking in Iraq when they were arrested by Iranian forces on July 31, 2009 and had not meant to cross the unmarked border.
