BEIJING (Reuters) - Authorities in southern China have raided a former pigsty where fake sweet potato flour was being made with corn, ink and paraffin and sold as a delicacy, state media said on Friday, in the latest scandal to strike the country's food industry.
The factory, in Zhoushan city in the booming province of Guangdong, had been turning out up to one tonne a day of the toxic mix since February, the official Xinhua news agency said.
