ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - The future of Pakistan's government appears uncertain, with an attempt to prosecute President Asif Ali Zardari for alleged corruption fuelling intense media speculation of a possible leadership change.
The most immediate challenge facing the ruling Pakistan People's Party (PPP) is the reopening of money-laundering cases against Zardari in Switzerland that were closed after he was elected president in 2008 and began enjoying immunity.
