FRANKFURT (Reuters) - More women at top levels of central banks would lead to better policy, European Central Bank Executive Board member Gertrude Tumpel-Gugerell said.
While women have gained ground in politics -- this week saw women climb to the top in Australia and Finland with Julia Gillard and Mari Kiviniemi becoming prime ministers -- central banks have largely remained old boys' clubs.
