ATHENS (Reuters) - Greece is meeting the budget cut and reform targets set out in an austerity plan agreed with the European Union and the International Monetary Fund, the debt-laden country's prime minister said on Tuesday.
A delegation of IMF, EU and European Central Bank officials is in Athens to check on the country's progress in meeting the terms of a 3-year, 110 billion euro ($148 billion) bailout plan to save the nation from bankruptcy.
