NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. investigators have identified a Pakistani-American man as the recent buyer of the vehicle used in a failed car bombing in New York's teeming Times Square, the New York Times reported on Monday.
The man, a naturalized U.S. citizen from Pakistan who lives in neighbouring Connecticut, bought the Nissan Pathfinder with cash and no paperwork in the last three weeks, the newspaper said, citing several people briefed on the investigation.
