REUTERS - Nigerian kidnappers released four Syrian and Lebanese construction workers, five days after they were abducted near the oil hub Port Harcourt, a police spokeswoman said on Wednesday.
Kidnappings for ransom are common in the oil-producing Niger Delta with hundreds of incidents reported each year. Most are released unharmed after a couple of days.
