COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Tearful Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva hailed a victory for Rio de Janeiro's heart and soul after the city won the right to host the 2016 Olympics on Friday.
"I thought I would never be touched again in my life. Rio has soul, it has heart," a tearful and sweat-drenched Lula told reporters metres from where the decision was announced.
