YANGON (Reuters) - A Myanmar court ruled on Friday that pro-democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi can appeal against her conviction for violating a security law after an American swam uninvited to her lakeside home in May.
The 64-year-old Nobel peace laureate's appeal would be heard on Sept. 18, a judge in Yangon Division Court said.
