SLEMAN, Indonesia (Reuters) - The pilot of a Garuda Indonesia aircraft, which crashed at Yogyakarta airport last year killing 21 people, on Monday pleaded not guilty to negligence or deliberately causing an accident, a district court heard.
Indonesian prosecutors last month charged Marwoto Komar with both offences. The maximum punishment for deliberately causing an accident is life imprisonment.
