MIAMI (Reuters) - Tropical Storm Chantal formed in the north Atlantic on Tuesday with sustained winds of 64 kph, but posed no threat to the United States, forecasters said.
Chantal was located about 530 km south of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and moving rapidly toward the northeast near 23 mph 37 kph, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami.
